Buy Cheap Ultraviolet Codes Instead of Renting

Online movie rentals are expensive now.  New releases from most major online retailers (Amazon, VUDU, and iTunes) cost a whopping $4 for standard quality and $5-6 for HD.

Along comes a better alternative.  Pay just $4-6 for most titles to add the movie to your digital collection, rather than renting, where you only get to see it once.  Several websites have cropped up selling Ultraviolet codes that let you own the movie forever, and stream it blu-ray players, gaming consoles, and any tablet or portable device that supports VUDU or Flixster.

I love supporting my local independent video store, and I'm definitely not advocating abandoning yours in favor of supporting the websites below. Instead of supporting inflated digital rental prices, buy an Ultraviolet code that allows you to own the movie forever.  If you like a movie, but don't want to pay $10-20 to own it on Blu-Ray, Ultraviolet is the most versatile option right now.

Most online stores deliver your Ultraviolet code in less than 24 hours, and many of them are automated, so your movie code is delivered within 15 minutes.

Cheers, and happy streaming!

Ultraviolet codes are great way to build your collection!  If you do want physical discs, however, check out these Blu-Rays from Amazon.  I never spend more than $10 on a Blu-Ray movie, unless it's a collector's item, a documentary, or truly extended edition, like the Lord of the Rings:

  1. I buy my codes from Movielovers.tictail.com. There's hundreds of movies, and the girls running the site give free movies a lot too

However, anyone know of a list of sellers not to use?

Are you talking about sellers running TicTail stores, or person to person sellers that you find on message boards and Google Plus?

    1. I haven't had any bad experiences yet *knock on wood*. The few times there was a problem with a code it was resolved promptly. I can't speak for every Tic Tail store, but movielovers.tictail.com is legit. I've used their site numerous times.

    2. I am referring to a Tic Tail "store' mentioned in one of these replies. Extremely rude and unprofessional, got burned, as well they are over-priced. I have moved on with much better peeps with SO many more to choose from (57 more, in fact). I have it down who has the best pricing and selection (current and some great older movies). I have not had an experience as horrid as that since. (this is @Last one btw) :-)

  13. SCAM ALERT
Ordered a digital code for a movie in HD for itunes on digitalcodes4sale.tictail.com. Received a completely different movie in SD. Contacted the seller who declined to do anything. Typical bait and switch scam artist. Had to involve Paypal to resolve the issue.

    1. I have never had a order placed from this name. Sounds like a upset seller who hates my prices...If you did indeed have a issue? Like any issue if I am in the wrong it would be resolved for you. Email me - Despite this being from Jan. If I'm wrong I will resolve your issue
