iPad Air prices and new feature comparison

Wikipedia has an excellent feature comparison table for iPads that is much easier to read than by simply browsing around the product pages of Amazon and Apple. 

A litlte history for those of you interested in buying an older iPad: The very first generation iPad began selling in stores in April 2010.  Six years later, we are now on the 6th iteration of the iPad, with the 7th on the way.  The 2nd generation of the iPad, released in 2011 is the oldest iPad to support the current iOS version, 9.2.


The iPad Air 2 was released in October 2014.  It was not released in a 64GB capacity, only 16, 64, and 128 GB.
New features:
* 8 megapixel still camera (up from 5 MP since the iPad 3)
* anti-reflective coating that reduces glare by up to 56 percent.
* 2GB of RAM (updated from 1GB)
* barometer

Thrift Store Shirt Raid

Today I stopped by a thrift store and got four button down shirts (3 long sleeve and one short) and two sweaters, all for $18! Just one of these would have been on sale for $25 and the Kenneth Cole shirt looks to be $50!

Books: MSU Book sale and an old treasure

I happened to see posters up for the library book sale at MSU before leaving campus and stopped by when the sale was nearly over. Most of the books were from the 70's and 80's, but I did find a few good titles for $2 each, Every Drop for Sale and Globalization: A Very Short Introduction.



After cleaning up the space in the corner of my room, I rediscovered this book that dad gave and recommended to me probably about 2-3 years ago, The Magic of Thinking Big. He gave me the 1987 edition. Now that I'm graduated from college and have so many possibilities, this should be a good read.
