Punny Bone - Dad Artist makes art with his daughter
Andrew Shim is a full-time work at home dad who designs art with his daughter.
I first stumbled on Ham-Purr-Ger and then saw that he has an entire series of punny art pieces for home and more!

Low Ferritin (Iron Stores) and High Iron (Hemochromatosis)
On average, a hair will grow for 5 years before falling out and being
replaced. If we do not have sufficient stored iron, the duration for
which an individual hair grows will be reduced.

Menstruating women are at the highest risk for iron deficiency because they are losing iron through their monthly cycles. Men (and people with the genetic variant for hemachromatosis)
The prevalence of iron deficiency anemia is 2 percent in adult men, 9 to 12 percent in non-Hispanic white women, and nearly 20 percent in black and Mexican-American women. Nine percent of patients older than 65 years with iron deficiency anemia have a gastrointestinal cancer when evaluated.
Why female vegans and vegetarians need to be taking iron supplements (opinion)
Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is the most common nutritional deficiency worldwide. It can cause reduced work capacity in adults and impact motor and mental development in children and adolescents. There is some evidence that iron deficiency without anemia affects cognition in adolescent girls and causes fatigue in adult women. IDA may affect visual and auditory functioning and is weakly associated with poor cognitive development in children.
Blood donors lose iron; 20 mg per day replaces lost iron with minimal constipation or gastroesophageal reflux disease; vitamin C potentiates iron absorption.
Iron metabolism is unusual in that it is controlled by absorption rather than excretion. Iron is only lost through blood loss or loss of cells as they slough. Men and nonmenstruating women lose about 1 mg of iron per day. Menstruating women lose from 0.6 to 2.5 percent more per day. An average 132-lb (60-kg) woman might lose an extra 10 mg of iron per menstruation cycle, but the loss could be more than 42 mg per cycle depending on how heavily she menstruates.7 A pregnancy takes about 700 mg of iron, and a whole blood donation of 500 cc contains 250 mg of iron.

Youserials.com
Tonight I stumbled on youserials.com. My previous go-to source for serials and keys, Serialz.to, disappeared a few months ago.
Youserials.com is great if you have the Adblock Plus extension running in Firefox. Otherwise they overlay a javascript ad over pages that show serial numbers, trying to lock in you into some advertising garbage. One would hope that anyone who knows enough to find serial numbers would know, or at least try a workaround for this sign-up junk. See the screenshot below.

If you don't want to install Adblock Plus, one of the best Firefox extensions, there's still a work-around, but you'll have to put-up with the ads. Navigate to a page that has serial numbers, then go to View > Page Source in the Firefox menu bar. You can also press Control-U or Command-U on a Mac. Once the page source window opens, scroll down until you see the serial number listed. Copy and paste the serial number.

How to Write a Better Essay
Some tips for writing better essays:
- Tell the main point of your essay in the first sentence (don't beat around the bush).
- Focus on one idea or point per paragraph If each paragraph is devoted to one idea, then the writing will most likely flow better and be easier to read.
- Vary the length of sentences. Spice up your essay and make it more interesting to read by adding in some short sentences. Trim down long sentences where possible.
- Only use a word if you know how to use it properly in a sentence (otherwise you risk looking like a someone who is trying to sound smart)
- The shorter the essay is, the better it should be. If your essay is two pages double-spaced or less, every paragraph, and every sentence should contribute to the whole essay. Not that you shouldn't put time into your longer essays, but short essays need to always be to the point.
- Make sure your conclusion paragraph is well-written, clear, and concise. I wrote a few papers in college that had some good supporting ideas, but were not fantastic. I wrote strong, clear concluding sentences and never got less than a B+ on these papers. Many teachers with large classes will only read the first few paragraphs and the last few paragraphs of a paper. The beginning and ending paragraphs are the most important part of your essay.
- Read your essay aloud to catch grammar and structural mistakes! It's fast and easy to catch grammar mistakes by reading your paper aloud. Having a friend read your paper will make it easier for you to listen to him/her speaking and catch more errors.
- Double check for easy homophone mistakes including: there/their, you're/your and other words that the grammar check can miss. If you read your essay aloud, you'll almost certainly catch these mistakes.
- Break up long sentences with commas. Hear the sentence in your mind, as you would read it aloud. Then look and see where commas should be used to correct the grammar and flow of the sentence.
- Give your essay a creative title. Make up a title that will hint at what your essay will be about. Think about magazine article titles-- they catch your attention.
