How to download Youtube videos in Firefox

To download Youtube videos in Firefox, install the Download Helper extension.

A new icon will appear to the left of your address bar after it's installed.

To download a video:
  1. Go to the page of the video on Youtube and let it start to load for a second.
  2. Pause the video.
  3. Click on the arrow next to the Download Helper icon.
  4. Choose which version of the video you want to download. (Most videos will have 240p and 360p version available. Others will have 480p and 720 HD versions.)
  5. After the video begins downloading, remember to close the tab with video loading, otherwise the file will download slower.
