I recently was on a weekend trip with only carry-on luggage. Some observations to help me travel lighter and smarter next time.
* My laptop was used every day.
* Used my camera every day while traveling.
* Used my cell phone once or twice (with my Dad and his new wife)
* Used my iPod only once and not on the plane.
* Only used a National Geographic magazine on the flights.
Ideal Travel Gear
* Bring my small, rolling carry-on suitcase for clothes and toiletries.
* Buy a photo/laptop backpack for my other carry-on and for other small items I might want during the flights.
