Collectable edition of Star Wars: A New Hope drops in price, while Empire and Jedi stay strong

The Limited edition DVD of Star Wars: A New Hope has dropped in price in recent months, while The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi have maintained their values on the used marketplace.

A few years ago these DVDs were discontinued in retail outlets.  I was fortunate enough to get the collectable DVDs at $10/each when Target was clearing out their inventory.

Here are the historical used values on 5/19/15 of the three DVDs that include the original theatrical cuts that have not had the adulterations that true Star Wars fans have grown to hate.

A List of the Rare Nintendo 64 games with notes from PriceCharting.com

Bomberman 64: The Second Attack
"The game sold less than the original Bomberman because it released near the end of the N64's lifecycle and was passed over by many retailers."

Worms Armageddon

Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetals
Blockbuster exclusive

Clayfighter 63 1/3 Sculptor's Cut
Blockbuster exclusive

Harvest Moon 64
"The life/farm simulator genre is very small niche in the USA, but it does have a loyal fan base. Like the SNES version of Harvest Moon, Natsume never produced the game in large quantities."

Ogre Battle 64

Shadowgate 64: Trials of the Four Towers

Starcraft 64

Snowboard Kids 2
"Like many other Atlus cartridge games, Snowboard Kids 2 was produced in very small quantities and never republished."

International Super Star Soccer 2000
"The 2000 version sold very poorly and is quite rare today."

Stunt Racer 64

Conker's Bad Fur Day
"The game was released the same year the Nintendo 64 was discontinued and sales sufffered because interest in the console and games had decreased."

Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine
" "Was released exclusively for rentals and not sold in stores." [source]

New Tetris
Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense
Goemon's Great Adventure
Rocket: Robot on Wheels
Tom and Jerry in Fists of Fury
Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness

Of the Mario Party games:
Mario Party 3 is the rarest on both RarityGuide.com and it has only 38 copies for sale on Amazon.com, which is low for a Nintendo 64 game.
According to PriceCharting.com:
"Mario Party 3 was one of the last games released for the N64 and sold much less than the first two, but still sold close to a million units. The game is valuable because it is so popular, not because it is hard to find."

Silver Coin Values

All the silver values below are calculated assuming silver is worth $28.95/oz (as of February 3, 2011)

..silver was removed from all coinage in 1965 and 1970 (40% silver half-dollars)

Bottom line:
* Look for quarters made in 1964 or earlier, 1964 Kennedy half dollars, and Kennedy Half Dollars made from 1965-1970.

* Only a special collector's version of the Eisenhower dollar was made with 40% silver. All the rest were made with no silver at all. The silver dollar weighs 24.59 grams and the worthless version (which is mostly circulated) weighs 22.68 grams. More info on the 40% silver Eisenhower Dollar and the non-silver Eisenhower Dollar. The weight difference is only about two paperclips.
