Gary was interviewed on How I Built This in August 21. Knowing that it's okay to have and pursue more than one passion feels rewarding. When passions overlap (ie: podcasting and writing) magic can happen!
Developing multiple areas of skill can give you an edge in a competitive job market, when working on creative projects, and when marketing yourself as an entrepreneur.
Learning how to film interviews on video (and edit those videos) made podcasting much easier for me. There was already a foundational knowledge of trimming content and presenting things in an interesting way.
