Ultraviolet Code Store Comparison | Buy UltraViolet Codes instead of expensive rentals

In May 2014 I wrote a list of some popular Ultraviolet Code stores, but the list is now somewhat outdated and included sites that are regularly unavailable.

This newly compiled list is the most up-to-date and comprehensive list of sources to get a wide selection of Ultraviolet codes at reasonable prices.

Click on the image below to view at full-size for easier reading.  At some point, I'll try to make this list in text/HTML with links.

UVgrab.com, MovieLovers.tictail.com, and WatchTheWolf.tictail.com currently have the largest selection of HD Ultraviolet codes to purchase.  Most of the sites that average a mere $3-4 for HD codes have only a very limited selection, or may only have some of the junk movies that movie buffs are not interested in purchasing.

The list is sorted by a combination of selection and price of the movie codes offered by each store.  I don't think it's worth buying SD, low-quality codes, so I've only included stores that have a significant number of HD codes.

What criteria were used to create this list of stores?
  • Price - stores that averaged $7 or more for HD codes were passed over because they are overpriced in the Ultraviolet market today.
  • Selection - stores with reasonably sized collections were included.
  • HD availability - stores without HD codes available were not considered.  In the long run, would you really want to spend money on digital copies that will look pixelated and trashy on your big screen TV?
  • Accessible - some stores were omitted from this list because they were offline as of this writing (Sept 24, 2014)
Several groups on Google Plus have also appeared where Ultraviolet codes can be bought, traded, and sold.
