MFRC - Military Family Readiness Center - Logo Highres

Linked below highest-res graphic of this logo I was able to find online.

The center does free financial, life, and marital counseling for military members. They also help members prepare to leave the military and prepare resumes.

The full-res of the linked graphic is 1426x1425, and easily large enough to use in a video.

Logonerds - Logos for under $100

I stumbled upon the Logonerds.com website a few days ago and I couldn't believe that they offer logos for under $100. A professionally designed logo for $47. It almost sounds too good to be true. I would almost pay that just to try it out. Other online logo services charge around $200 for logo packages.

According to Logo Reviews, they are based out of Canada. Maybe this is how they keep their costs down. Even a decent professionally designed logo would be worth well over $47. As of 3/16/10, they do not provide a phone number on their website.

Here are some examples from their online portfolio:

Make rounded corner images with Photoshop clipping masks

To make the Rotten Tomatoes icon and the 1x icon with rounded corners, I used the Clipping Mask feature in Photohop. (The rounded Flickr icon was from a Google image search.)

To clip an image layer to a shape, the shape layer must be placed just below the image layer.
Then select the photo layer, right click and choose "Create clipping mask." Done.

Before moving the clipped image layer, the image layer and clipping layer need to be linked together.
